UCBIA established this scholarship in memory of R. Kenneth Koltenbah, who was a charter member of the association
and a builder in this community for many years. The scholarship, in the amount of $500, is awarded annually to
a Union County graduating senior who wished to seek advanced training at a college, university, or trade school
in any area related to the building industry.
The purpose of the scholarship is to provide financial assistance and to encourage qualified students to seek education
beyond high school. The scholarship is non-renewable, so that a different student will receive the award each year.
